The car was originally purchased at Gran Prix in Washington by John McCaw, billionaire and former owner of McCaw Cellular in Seattle, and a former owner of the Vancouver Canucks NHL franchise. This stunning F355 features the rare Swatter blue with blue interior. 375-horsepower 3.5-liter V8 engine with five valves per cylinder, coupled to a 6-speed transmission. Eighteen-inch 5-spoke magnesium wheels and powerful 4-wheel ventilated brakes which are mounted to the F355's 4-wheel independent suspension.
12,000 original miles and absolutely immaculate! No paint or body work, everything works exactly as new, car looks, runs and drives with precision. It has been regularly detailed and always kept covered indoors when not out enjoying a drive through sunny California
Just recieved it's annual chassis service. The 30K Major Service and Valve Job was done with approximately 7,300 miles. The Engine/Trans trolley package was pulled and both Cylinder Heads removed for a complete Valve Job. All Intake and Exhaust Guides replaced with magnesium bronze guides. All exhaust valves were replaced also. A complete 30K Belt service was performed, along the cam seals, cam belt tensioner bearings, tensioner bodies, new water pump and bulk head cooling hoses. Also new Bridgestone Expedia S01 tires were fitted at the time as well.
